Pastor Duane Jordan

Pastor Duane

Pastor Duane Jordan is the founding pastor (1995) of Boulder City Assembly of God Church.  He and his wife, Fran, led by our Lord, came to Boulder City from Prineville, Oregon to plant our church.  He truly is a man who has a heart after God and is a shepherd of his church family in the truest sense of the word.  He loves people and he loves the Lord.  He is a Spirit-filled man with a vibrant vision for our church in Boulder City.  Pastor Jordan is a man of strength and purpose and is Spirit-driven to fulfill what God has called he and Fran to do in Boulder City.

Fran Jordan

Fran Jordan is our co-pastor... she and Pastor have been married 22 years and have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.  Both lost their former spouses to death and God lovingly and purposely brought Duane and Fran and their families together.  Their love for and commitment to one another is only dwarfed by their love for and commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  The Lord brought them to Boulder City in 1995 on purpose to grow His church.  Fran is a primary leader in our Children's Ministry and Women's Ministry.  She is also an awesome prayer warrior and speaker as well as an an accomplished musician.  She is a joy to know!

Pastor Jason and Kirstie

Jason and Kirstie are our awesome pastors of our youth!  This couple have proved themselves faithful and dedicated to the youth of our church as well as the City of Boulder City.  Each Thursday at least 25 young people (6th grade through 12th grade meet to worship and learn about who Jesus Christ is in their daily lives.     They are blessed with a support team made up of people like Alex Lingle, Adrienne Paddock and Tara Hanson.   They are all so amazing individually and as a team!  BCA is so blessed to have them as our Truth Student Ministry team!  ALSO, Jason is becoming an accomplished drummer and is a member of our Board and Building Committee.  Kirstie's incredible energy makes her an awesome "idea person!"



Harriet Markland, Secretary

Harriet Markland is Boulder City Assembly's Office Manager and all around support team for every ministry in our Church.  She works Monday through Friday in the church office co-ordinating communications between departments and ministries, and acts as lisasion with outside business and organizations.  She publishes a weekly Sunday bulletin which keeps us all informed of church events.  She is the welcome face that all see when first coming into the church offices.  She also is the Nursery Director where she cares for the babies and toddlers as though they were her own.  She is an amazing woman of God.

Dean Markland, a former Assemblies of God pastor, is our Pastor of Prayer and Visitation.  God has given Dean an incredible gift as a "fisher of men" as well as ministering to people in hospitals and care centers.  He has a faith that has come from a diligence in seeking God.  He is a great friend to all to whom he ministers.   If you need prayer or you are in need, please contact him through the church or you can reach him at his e-mail address on the contact page.

Pastor Gil Pries, is an ordained Assemblies of God minister. He has been blind since birth and as the leader of our Telephone Follow-Up Ministry he is very active on the phone as well as the computer in order to stay in touch and to reach those who have visited our church or are in need of prayer or encouragement. He is also the Senior Commander of our Royal Ranger Outpost #219, which he helped organize along with the help of Commanders Lance Kirol and Monty Mehlorn. It is a thriving Outpost, growing quicker than we can make space available. Pastor Gil is an accomplished organist and guitarist having composed a number of worship hymns and choruses.
